CAV 2 Release Date Announced
Feb 01, 2007 Chrome

Reaper Ed has announced on Reaper's forums that the downloadable version of the CAV 2 rules will be available sometime on Friday. It appears that the data cards will be a seperate download, most likely available for free via ReaperGames.com.

The best news though is confirmation that CAV 2 will be coming out in both Hard and Soft cover versions later this Spring. The hard cover version will be in full-color and only available via pre-order. It will release sometime in March. The soft cover version will be available in May and will be just like the existing CAV books, with a full-color cover and black & white interior artwork.

Finally, he provided some information on the new CAV 2 Starter Set. It will be repackaged in the new smaller box-set size, include an updated Quick-Play guide and include the CAV 2 rulebook on CD. The models in the starter have yet to be determined. The rules-on-CD will also be available for purchase seperately.

You can read Ed's post for your self here. Don't forget to scroll down, he answers a couple of questions further down the thread.

Cheiftain and Overlord Released
Feb 13, 2007 Chrome

Due to the suckiness that is Monday, I completely missed that Reaper had released two new CAV minis! The Adonese RMI Overlord Gunship is MSRP'ed at $15.99 and the re-sized Open Affiliation RMI Chieftain Tank is $9.99.

From the pictures, both models look extremely nice. Personally, I can't wait to add a full section of the Chieftains to my Ritterlich task force!

I was just checking in on Reaper's CafePress Store again and noticed that the dark t-shirts are no available in 4 more colors: Red, Royal Blue, Brown and Slate Gray. So if there was a design you liked but didn't like any of the shirt colors, you might want to check these new shirts out.
