Damaged Rulebooks?
Aug 18, 2001 RaveZero

Pages falling out of your CAV rulebook? Have ink smears on the pages? No worries, mate. Reaper has you covered. Here's a quote from ReaperEd:

...if you have a copy [with pages falling out], send me your address and I will send a replacement copy with and envelope to return your damaged copy so that I can take the printer to task. Please don't return a damaged copy to your store as it might take months to finally make its way back to Reaper.

To contact Reaper to replace a damaged rulebook, email reapersupport@aol.com.

Painting Contest Extended
Aug 19, 2001 RaveZero

jacketboss (aka "jimbo" - Reaper artist) has extended the deadline on his CAV miniature painting contest. Here's a snip from his post to the Mil-Net forums:

It has come to my attention that time is a problem for some of you......and since I get my CAV's early , this is what I'm gonna do. The contest will run until the 30th of August. Last entry could show up at my e-mail, by Midnight , no later then forwarded to the group. The winners will be posted on the 1st of September (my brothers b-day).

Good luck and keep painting!

With that in mind, I will be updating the Painting Contest page shortly with all the current information, as well as four new contest entries.

If you wish to submit your own entry, please send a picture of your painted miniature to jacketboss at prince_of_dragons@hotmail.com

NOTE: The contest is being conducted by jimbo of his own volition, and is not supported or endorsed by Reaper Miniatures.

Ok, our e-mail software took a dive again.

The issue is being worked on, but unfortunately the problem hasn't been identified, so no ETA as of yet. For now just use steelcommand@hotmail.com to get in touch with us.

Sorry for the issues, they'll be over soon (I need to keep telling myself that).

E-Mail and More...
Aug 26, 2001 RaveZero

Looks like our e-mail is working properly again.

During the past few days some CAV news has been building up. Look for a few updates in the next couple of days, including two new pieces of fan fiction, word on a CAV rules review, and more!

Also, don't forget that the CAV Painting Contest ends this Friday at midnight. If you have a CAV you would like to enter into the contest, get painting because time is running out!

Mil-Net is happy to have not one, but two fan fiction articles to post!

Ambush at Lacoma Pass, by Tim Berry, is a look at how devastating infantry can be against CAVs.

David "MacAttack" McCulloch takes a shot a some serious fiction with Fulcrum, and hits the bullseye.

Contest Deadline Nears!
Aug 30, 2001 Chrome

The deadline for Jacketboss' CAV Painting Contest is tomorrow night at midnight, so you'd better hurry up and get him your entries.

If you've already entered, you still need to email him your snail-mail address, as he's got goodies to send out to everyone who entered! Please remember to give him your name, b/c I doubt that the mailman will deliver to "voXor8" or any similar monikers.

Entries and/or shipping addresses should be emailed to prince_of_dragons@hotmail.com
